WATCH: SA Consumer Inflation up 4.5% in January

Consumer price inflation increased by 4.5% year-on-year in January 2020. And while this is up from December’s 4% year-on-year increase and its highest up-tick in seven months, it still marks the fourteenth consecutive month that year-on-year inflation was at, or below the midpoint of the target band of 3-6%.
